| The McIntosh Art
Association was founded on October 5, 2000 by four people who enjoyed painting
together. The current membership stands at 256 and is constantly growing. We are
incorporated as a non-profit organization. Our stated purpose is to
promote the arts in McIntosh County with an emphasis on the visual
arts. To that end we sponsor exhibits, sales, trips, educational
classes, maintain an art center and museum, and lend support to other
creative endeavors in this area. |
