Linda Tucker began oil painting in
1992, studying with Jackie Ivy-Weaver and Theresa English in Macon, Georgia. She
was an active member of the Middle Georgia Art Association and participated in
several group shows. She earned a painting award at MGAA's Winter Arts Festival.
Linda is a retired teacher and moved to Darien,
Georgia in 1998 with her husband, Ken. She has studied painting locally with
Barbara Mueller and Jeanne Szabo. Tucker is the founding president of the
McIntosh Art Association and a member of Glynn Art Association, Jekyll Island
Art Association and Georgia Coastal Artists. She exhibits her work at Glynn Art
Gallery on St. Simons Island, Goodyear Cottage on Jekyll Island and McIntosh Old Jail Art Center in Darien.
