Linda began oil painting in 1992, studying with Jackie Ivy Weaver and Theresa English in Macon, Georgia. She was an active member of the Middle Georgia Art Association and participated in several group shows. She earned a painting award at MGAA’s Winter Arts Festival.
Linda is a retired teacher and moved to Darien, Georgia in 1998 with her husband, Ken. She has studied oil painting locally with Barbara Mueller, Jeanne Szabo, Karen Burnett and Carl Fougerousse. Linda is the founding President of the McIntosh Art Association and is also a member of the Glynn Art Association, and Jekyll Island Arts Association. She exhibits her work at Glynn Art Gallery on St. Simon’s Island, Goodyear Cottage on Jekyll Island, Midway Gallery, Midway, Georgia and at the McIntosh Old Jail Art Center in Darien.
