"My name, (can you say in a soft southern drawl) is Minet”. It’s like a shrimp net. “It’s not your net, but it’s my-net.”

Dolphins, shrimp nets… are you beginning to wonder if there’s something fishy going on here. There is! You can almost feel the sun beating down on your shoulders: the gritty sand between your toes as you inspect the vibrant dwellings, the flashing fish and the lively bodies of the people who populate Minet Glenn’s acrylic imagination. Her artwork, like her life, is an adventure.

Minet spent twenty years with her husband Captain Jeff cruising seven different countries much of this time was spent cruising in the Islands where Minet was inspired by the colorful landscapes and life styles of the people.

In 2000, Minet and Jeff returned to the coast of Georgia where she began painting.

She became a member of the McIntosh Art Association where she served as First Vice President, board member and chaired two local events “Art in The Park” and “Darien Fall Fest” for three years. Minet was one of the Founders of The Old Jail Art Center where she exhibits her work for sale.

Minet’s favorite motto is “If it is not fun I’m not doing it”. She encourages all to try their hand at art. If it does not come natural, take lessons. Art is truly a fun thing to do.
