McIntosh Art College Scholarship - Due 4/29/26
Each year since 2020, as part of our mission to support the arts and the young artists of the future, MAA has offered a $1000 scholarship to a promising high school senior or college student venturing into the visual arts field. To be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:
- Be a graduating senior at McIntosh County Academy or a home-schooled McIntosh County resident -or-
- A current college Freshman, Sophomore or Junior who formerly met the above criteria or currently lives in McIntosh County
- Provide proof of acceptance/enrollment in an accredited college with a major in the field of Visual Arts (Fine Arts, Electronic Arts, Photography, Design)
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

The Gallery
Filled with works by our local artist members, the main floor and upstairs gallery exhibit rotates out every two months.
The Painted Palette Gift Shop
The Painted Palette gift shop offers many unique handcrafted items as well as keepsakes promoting Darien and McIntosh County. These pictures are a sampling of the treasures you may find here. One-of-a-kind inventory tends to change, so pay us a visit--there's no telling what youll find!
